2016- New Year Resolutions

Speech Pathology Solutions, LLC would like to wish everyone a Happy New Year and share with you our  New Year Resolutions to keep our practice meeting the needs of those in our community.

Our number one resolution for 2016 is education! We strive to educate our patients, families and the members of our community on communication and swallowing disorders that can effect us at any age. Through our monthly posts we will choose a topic that will provide the latest information, studies and effective therapy techniques. From pediatric development to geriatric neurological diseases we can be the resource to facilitate your knowledge and help your loved ones. Is there something you would like to know more about? Please feel free to reach out to us on our web page!

Although we are incredibly excited about the growth of the practice our second resolution is marketing. While social media has been a paramount avenue (thank you for all the likes and shares) there are still populations we are missing. Mainly the adult and geriatric populations. As Speech Language Pathologists we are trained and certified to work with all ages. We provide voice therapy, cognitive- linguistic rehabilitation, aphasia therapy and dysphagia treatment. Our SLPs offer more than 10 years experience working with adults in acute care hospitals, rehab centers and nursing homes. We have received the latest training in Vital Stim therapy, Myofasical Release and LSVT Loud (Lee Silverman Voice Therapy).

Our last resolution is to continue community involvement. In 2015 we were proud sponsors of Operation Halloween and actively participated in Stafford’s Touch a Truck Event, Lacey’s Trunk or Treat, POAC walk, Barnegat’s Senior Day and our recent Stafford PBA Toys for Tots drive. We also volunteered and provided free early childhood Speech and Language screenings at our local preschools. We look forward to continuing our involvement with all these great organizations and more for 2016!
