The Manchester Library is proud to offer quarterly Parksinon’s Classes in partnership with licensed providers from Speech Pathology Solutions, LLC. These free quarterly group meetings are designed to help individuals strengthen their communication skills, particularly those affected by Parkinson’s disease.

Led by experienced professionals, these sessions use evidence-based techniques to improve speech clarity, vocal strength, and confidence. Whether you’re looking to enhance your own voice or support a loved one, the classes are a welcoming and encouraging environment where participants can connect, practice, and grow together.

Group Meetings at the manchester library on mondays - jun 15, sep 21, dec 14

These sessions are free and open to the public, specifically designed for individuals diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease or other neurological disorders. Our focus will be on exercises aimed at enhancing speech and vocal quality, providing valuable support and improvement opportunities.

Parkinson Voice Project is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization solely dedicated to helping people with Parkinson’s regain and retain their speech and swallowing. The organization provides SPEAK OUT! Workbooks, online SPEAK OUT! Home Practice Sessions, and a weekly Parkinson’s Sing-Along to complement the speech therapy they can receive at Speech Pathology Solutions, LLC. The organization is headquartered in Richardson, Texas, and has trained over 10,000 clinicians in more than 40 countries.
